Sometimes, when your dog's barking gets completely out of control, bark
control collars can be a good and effective solution. Bark control collars have
been effective in quieting a dog at times where barking is inconvenient. Despite
what some people think, they are both ethical and humane.
The SBC-6 works by detecting your dog's barking and then administering a
correction at the same time it barks. Being equipped with 6 progressive static
shock correction levels, it snugly fits onto the neck of dogs weighing more than
3,6 kilograms. We have other collars for lighter dogs.
Just make your dog wear the no bark 6 collar whenever you have a situation where
barking is not appropriate. The SBC-6 detects barking with some vibration
detectors that are integrated in its design, and when it detects barking, it
releases a small static shock in order to call your dog's attention.
Starting with the lowest intensity level out of 6, the collar will automatically
move up to the next level if your dog barks for more than 30 seconds, and the
collar will shut down for 3 minutes if it detects that your dog barked at least
15 times in 50 seconds. You can hear a beep and see a LED light flash for every
correction offered to your dog.
Also, the SBC-6 is resistant to water, and it will tell you through an indicator
when it's time to get a new battery. Equipped with a plastic orange strap, this
collar can be adjusted for neck sizes from 6" – 28". The purchase includes an
RFA-118 battery pack that powers the collar.
Things to Consider When Using the SBC-6
It's not advised to make your dog wear the no bark 6 collar more than 10 hours a
day. It's also critical not to attach tethers or any extra items to the collar,
to avoid activating it accidentally. Never use the collar in situations where
barking is normal and healthy. Make sure that the collar is neither too tight
nor too lose. Keep it clean and make sure that you use a real SBC-6 collar, and
not a fake imitation.
The SBC-6 is a great tool to reduce barking at inconvenient times. It's light and comfortable to use. Just remember, don't use the no bark 6 collar when barking is acceptable.
