Where can I find puppys for sale in Bismarck, ND or others areas around!?
I have been looking everywhere and every single puppy I find it was over my price range or its just spam! I have looked on many website's and I was hoping to get my grandma a puppy for her birthday because her little teacup poodle passed away. I just need some help because I don't know what too look for in a puppy!!
Thanks for much help!
Please, please be absolutely sure that your grandma wants another puppy! It sounds like a great thing to do for your grandma–but maybe she is not ready yet. Also, she should get the kind of puppy that SHE wants. It would be much smarter and better to give her a gift voucher for the SPCA, or a shelter–so she can pick out the exact puppy that she wants. After all, grandma will be the one raising and paying to take care of this little dog for the next 10-15 years–and that is a BIG commitment. It costs alot to raise a pup–vet bills, monthly medicines, spay/neuter, food, toys, etc. And that is IF the puppy is very healthy.
The 1st year of my little chihuahua's life, I spent a thousand dollars in vet bills!
First off–never ever BUY a puppy from a 'pet store'–These puppies come from horrible puppy mills and are often very genetically sick. Nomatter what the manager of the store says–their puppies are not from local breeders. Unless the manager of the pet store can show you, in person, the mother and father dog of their puppies (which they will NOT be able to do this)–steer clear from any pet from a pet 'store'.
There are hundreds and hundreds of puppies born everyday that need a forever home. Most that aren't saved, are put to death.
It is a wonderful feeling to save a life!
Anyway–this is just my opinion. Go to www.petfinder.com and put in the type of dog, age, sex, size, sex, city, state–and a whole list of pups/dogs will come up, with pictures and descriptions of available furbabies that are in need of a loving forever home–and someone to save their life. Adopting a shelter poodle, or any dog is a wonderful thing to do.
You could see what is available, copy down the name and phone number/address of several pet adoption places–and you and your grandma could go together to pick out a puppy, maybe with your mom, to help out.
Okay–I just went and looked around petfinder and there is very little in ND!
I did find one place in Fargo, and here is their website, with dogs available for adoption;
http://www.4luvofdog.com/
You can also talk to your local vets and ask them where are places with puppy adoptions. Do you have PetSmart pet stores near you?
I found this one;
(701) 250-8107 - 1211 W Century Ave, Bismarck, ND
The ones here, in PA have pet adoptions one day a week!
Central Dakota Humane Society Adoption Center in Mandan, North Dakota here is their website–they are a No Kill shelter;

Good luck–but p[lease check with your mom/grandma first to make absolutely sure that she is really ready for another puppy!

check your local humane society to see if they have puppies… do not go to a pet store those dogs were bred in a puppy mill and those places should be banned from existence!

The classifieds in your local newspaper often have puppies for sale.

sorry but you need to educate yourself a tad before getting another pup.
sorry for the loss but no such thing as 'teacup' anything. just call it a runt and move on.
find a small breed rescue and find her a new pup. giving another pup a rescued life will be just as rewarding as a new puppy

Never buy from a pet store
Never buy from a backyard breeder
PS: There is a mini and a toy poodle, but no such thing as a teacup poodle. Its what backyard breeders call runts (smaller than normal size) dogs so they can jack up the price and make people think they are getting something "rare". Hope this helps good luck!
