Sick Tea-Cup/ Tiny Toy Poodle?
my tea-cup poodle has been sick today. i got home from my dads and she has thrown up all day. i know of at least 4 time. she has thrown up 2 in the past 10 min. please help and quick. it might could be her new food she has been eating it for 1 week
she is tinytoy not teacup thats what they called her but she is a tea cup
she is 4 and hasnt been sick in 3 years
she has been active all day and has been wanting to play i brought her water into my room and she doesnt want it
It is impossible for anyone to diagnose your dog over the internet, so you should probably contact a local Emergency Vet and see what they recommend. It could be serious, or it could be nothing, however its always better to be safe than sorry.
A call to the vet would certainly be a good idea.

"teacups" (even though there is no such thing) are ALWAYS sick. but to answer your question, please take her to the vet!!

there's no such thing as a "teacup" you have a toy poodle.
Call a vet.. small, poorly bred runts get sick easily, and can die if not properly treated.
ADDED.. poodles only come in 3 sizes.. toys, minis and standards.. anyone selling them as a "teacup" "tiny toy" or any other size is selling an unhealthy runt.
Despite her age, these poorly bred dogs have issues.. she may have a compromised immune system, or a health issue thats now rearing its ugly head as she matures. See a VET!

There is no such thing as a "teacup" anything. They are poorly bred runts that puppy mills and byb sale for money. They are almost ALWAYS sick. This is what you get for buying the latest "trend" dog. You need to take your dog to the vet because she can become dehydrated very easily.

Your first problem is you bought a dog that's too small relative to its breed standard. This almost always comes with health problems throughout life.
But since you have the dog already and all the posters here want your dog to live, here's your answer: Call your vet. A little delicate thing is very easily dehydrated, especially with frequent vomiting. Try to get her to drink water. She might just have an upset tummy, but she also might be very very sick. I'd rather you find out by taking her to the vet, than her dying before you can get her help.
Tell your dad you think she's really sick, and you'd like him to take you both to the vet.

This is the problem with these tiny dogs, they are bred for money and health and temperment have NOT been apart of the decision. Teacups are bred from runts, to runts, with numerous health problems, temperment, behavioural problems.
Common health issues in normal size toy poodles!
prone to ear infections, runny eyes, digestive tract and heart disorders, skin conditions, slipped stifle and PRA. Also IMHA (Immune Mediated Hemolytic Anemia), these condition's are dramatically increased in tea-cup poodles, they do exsist sadly because of Puppy mills & backyard breeders and sadly they are short lived.
What food do you feed her on? Some of the high protein diets are not a good idea for small breeds, strain there kidneys. 35% protein is really ridiculous amount for any breed unless its a husky or akita in full time sled pulling work, 7 days a week, 365days a year!
Also check with the vet before changing the food. Also take the dog to the vet if consistent vomiting occurs.

Has she had her vaccinations? There is Parvo. That will make them throw up and have runny diahrrea with blood in it. Dont give her anything else to eat and make sure she stays hydrated. If you keep feeding her shes going to just keep throwing up. Get her to a vet ASAP.

My 2 months old toy poodle just died last night 3 am and yesterday we did brought him to the vet and he took 3 injection and another injection at night ,he keeps on vomiting dark brown liquid and some came out of his nose and looks like hardly to breath. The vet told us better be ready ,he might leave us anytime and this kinda of situation happened to most of the pomeranian and poodle puppies and the vet never explain much even he took some test on him by taking his poops and the liquid to examined ,i really wanted to know what's happened and what caused him to this .
